Riding Lessons

At Kimgara Park we offer both group and private lessons. The duration of all lessons are one hour, You will find our rates for both group and private are competitive.

Since we have floodlit facilities we can teach in the evening, which make lessons practical for after school or work.

Our lessons teach all aspects of horse riding from basic skills and positions through formation riding dressage, jumping, cross country. As riders advance they can sit school holiday program level testings for children aged 10-18 years. And the whole school is able to perform to the best to try and win the perpetual cup. For the end of the year presentation night one rider out of the whole school will win the cup.

There is also 3 other trophies that can be won on the night. Most improved rider, most dedicated rider and Most outstanding rider. These 3 trophies and put into age category. So throughout the night there are over 25 different trophies handed out as well as certificates. This is a sit down 3 course meal plus entertainment.

We also run 3 school holiday programs a year, where students get a chance to learn about stable maintenance, feeding, grooming, rugging, rug sizes, dental and farrier work, floating and more. Each school holiday program runs over a 4 day period.
